Within this challenging role, you will…………

bridge the gap between business and IT, translate user needs into clear solutions, and work closely with stakeholders and the development team to deliver high-quality digital products.

 

Your role

  • Analyse business needs, challenges and opportunities, and translate these into clear user stories, flows and acceptance criteria.

  • Facilitate workshops such as event storming sessions and refinement meetings, and create designs or mock-ups in tools like Figma.

  • Support the Product Owner, Scrum Master and development team in defining, prioritising and delivering the product backlog.

  • Participate in key Agile ceremonies (planning, daily stand-up, review/demo, retrospective) and ensure proper documentation and testing of new functionalities.

  • Guide the application support team so they can prepare end-user documentation and assist with Business Acceptance Testing when needed.

  • Ensure delivered features are fully ready for production and understood by all involved stakeholders.

 

Your profile

  • You hold a higher degree (minimum Bachelor) and have at least 5 years of experience as an IT Business Analyst.

  • Experience within the logistics sector is a strong plus.

  • You combine analytical strength with clear communication and a user-friendly, quality-oriented mindset.

  • You have solid experience with Agile/Scrum and tools such as UML, Figma, Figjam, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio or Visual Paradigm.

  • You are fluent in Dutch and English.

  • You meet the requirements to obtain the mandatory security clearance for critical port functions.

Working Hours & Additional Leave

  • Full-time contract of 38 hours per week

  • 5 extra days off in addition to statutory vacation days

  • Hybrid working: max. 3 days per week after 6 months of service

  • Work hours with flexible start (7:30–9:30 AM) and finish (4:00–6:00 PM)
