Meet the team
My role at CLdN Fleet Supervision is to act as a liaison between CLdN and the vessels, the technical manager and other stakeholders. I oversee vessel maintenance and repairs, approve budgets, and monitor the costs of operating the ships. I also ensure ships comply with regulations, manage retrofit and new building projects, and investigate technologies that could be beneficial to our fleet.
I feel lucky that I can learn about different aspects of shipping, from operations to financial. I get to travel for work, which is exciting. CLdN is a dynamic company with a positive outlook and it’s a pleasure to work with diverse, competent people. A highlight: recently two large rotor sails were installed onboard the Delphine and I had the chance to be involved in that project. It makes me proud that CLdN is actively working towards reducing its CO2 emissions in this and many other projects
