Administrator (Apprentice)

Within this challenging role, you will provide administrative support to various operational business units in CLdN Ports London Ltd.

 

Your role

·        To study and pass a Business Administration Level 3 Apprenticeship with a duration of 18 months.

·        To spend time in the relevant business units learning and assisting with admin tasks.

·        To learn how to issue visitor/contractor/ delivery movements, ensuring that data is accurately entered onto the appropriate systems.

·        To understand and help resolve dwell times of traffic that has entered the RoRo system and onto the port.

·        To provide support & learn how to process: rechecks, booking in/out freight, cancelling and changing driver’s collection, checking holds status. Q’s and Temperature checks.

·        To learn the car system known as the CMS.

·        To provide administrative support to various departments within the group on an as and when required basis. 

·        To carry out any reasonable request and other duties commensurate with your skills and abilities.

 

Your profile                                                                    

·        You will hold GCSE level 4 or functional skills Level 2 in Maths and English (or equivalent)

·        Able to demonstrate some administration skills

·        Good IT skills including the use of MS Office

·        Have excellent organisation skills

·        Have good communication skills with all levels of management and staff

·        Ability to demonstrate confidence in working under pressure and using initiative

·        You must be a self-motivated individual, with a flexible approach to work
