Azure Cloud Engineer (M/F)

Due to our continuous expansion, CLdN IT Systems SA is looking for an Azure Cloud Engineer to reinforce the IT Support & Project Services team for our headquarter in Luxembourg (Grand Duchy of Luxembourg).

 

Your role

Within this challenging position, you will play a critical role in ensuring the stability, security, and continuous improvement of our Azure cloud environment. You will lead advanced troubleshooting, drive automation, and collaborate across different teams.

 

Key Responsibilities

·         Lead advanced troubleshooting and resolution of high-priority Azure incidents (authentication, automation, networking, VM)

·         Perform root cause analysis and drive problem management for recurring Azure issues

·         Own Azure platform operations: VM, networking, storage, automation accounts, and integrations

·         Design, implement, and maintain automation using Terraform, PowerShell, and Azure DevOps pipelines

·         Optimize platform performance, cost, and security posture

·         Mentor and support L1/L2 teams, develop documentation, and close knowledge gaps

·         Coordinate with Security, Infra, and Service Delivery teams for cross-functional projects

·         Participate in on-call rotations and major incident response

·         Ensure compliance with governance frameworks (NIS2, ISO27001) and internal policies

 

Skills

Azure Core Services:

  • Deep expertise in Azure AD, VM, Networking (VPN, AVD), Storage, Backup, and Security

  • Experience with automation accounts and service integration

 

Networking / Security:

  • Strong understanding of Azure networking, VPN, firewalls, and MFA/Authenticator

  • Security best practices for cloud environments

 

Automation / DevOps:

  • Proficiency in Terraform, PowerShell, and Azure DevOps pipelines

  • Experience with automation of provisioning, monitoring, and incident response

 

ITIL / Service Management:

  • Solid grasp of ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, Change Management)

  • Experience in enterprise support environments

 

Troubleshooting & RCA:

  • Proven ability to lead root cause analysis and resolve complex technical issues

 

Your profile                                                                         

·         You have significant experience of 5+ years in Azure engineering or cloud operation roles.

  • You have demonstrated L3/senior support experience in enterprise environments.

  • You have track record of leading incident response and automation initiatives.

  • Azure certifications (AZ-104, AZ-305, AZ-400, or similar), Security or DevOps certifications and experience with governance frameworks (NIS2, ISO27001) are considered as an advantage.

·         You are entrepreneurial and able to perform to a high level of quality and responsibility at all times.

  • You are reliable, well organized, stress resistant during crisis situations.

·         You hold a University degree in IT.
