Meet the team

My day-to-day responsibilities involve sales and commercially developing our UK routes between Rotterdam and Zeebrugge. The most important qualities needed to do my job effectively are good communication, people skills, and having a proactive, positive attitude. In a commercial role, you need to be a self-starter and able to adapt quickly to changing situations.

CLdN is a big company but it feels like a smaller organisation as you have the opportunity to take on different projects and develop yourself and your skills in many ways, which I find rewarding and inspiring.

My role involves creating, maintaining and deepening customer relationships. I monitor performance and work alongside the operations management team to ensure our customers are receiving the most efficient service. I enjoy my role because it has such a variety of tasks and allows me to broaden my understanding of the port operations. I also appreciate knowing that I make a positive difference to a customer’s experience.
