Do you have a passion for transport and want to be an active player in the creation and setup of a brand new CLdN office in Poland?
As part of our strategic expansion, CLdN multimodal transport and freight forwarding division are opening a new office in Poznan to enter the polish market. We are therefore looking for enthusiastic team members and a Commercial Manager to strengthen our multimodal transport activities.
Within this challenging position as a Commercial Manager, you will be responsible for setting up and further developing the commercial perspectives of our establishment in Poland.
Your task will be to effectively manage business so that divisional objectives are accomplished, and you will be responsible for Sales activity of the office in order to achieve optimal performance and maximum return.
Actively engage with the operational colleagues, tender team and other business units;
Participate actively in the set-up of commercial strategies in order to reach the defined objectives and further build the commercial organization;
Cultivate new sales leads and increase business opportunities by intensive networking and representing the CLdN Cargo at different levels (fairs, commercial representations, …);
Screen the market for business opportunities and actively visit (potential) customers
Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients on a continuous basis;
Establish selling price by analyzing supply and demand, economic trends, commodity flows, … .
Manage the commercial process starting from the set-up of client offers till closing the deals.
You have an education on Bachelor level preferably in logistics, logistics engineering or commerce;
You have a strong commercial acumen and already act with clients on management level;
You are prepared to travel intensively throughout the country and occasionally other parts of Europe;
You are digital savvy;
You are a flexible professional with a good attitude;
You speak Polish and English; all other languages are considered as an advantage.
You are highly motivated, dynamic and result oriented;
You are commercial minded and have excellent communication and negotiation skills;
You can work autonomously and are flexible, both in mind and in spirit;
You have excellent interpersonal skills and can work with all levels of hierarchy;
You can think outside the box.
