Due to our continuous expansion, we are looking for a dynamic HR (Payroll) Officer.

Within this position, you will be part of a multitasking HR team and provide daily support to both management and its staff.  You will also assist in HR related matters of the crew on our ro-ro vessels.

 

In close collaboration with our HR team, you will be responsible for the following activities:

  • Prepare employment contracts, addenda, work certificates and other HR and payroll related documentation;

  • Preparation of the payroll on a monthly basis;

  • Provide support to management and other employees on various topics such as leave, compensation, absence, etc;

  • Assist in the recruitment process and reviews;

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including diligent oversight of personnel files, follow-up on absences and illnesses;

  • Participation in ad-hoc tasks and HR projects.

 

Your profile

  • Minimum 3-years of relevant experience as HR officer, ideally with an experience in payrolling;

  • Good knowledge of the Luxembourg social security system and labor law;

  • Good knowledge of payroll administration and familiarity with specific tax issues of cross border commuters;

  • ‪Fluent in English and French;

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;

  • Strong aptitude in problem-solving and able to work autonomously;

  • Proactive, stress resistant and reliable.
