Within this challenging role, reporting to the Head of IT Applications, you will take strategic and tactical ownership of all third-party software products across CLdN. You ensure that purchased software solutions are as well-integrated, secure, stable, and future-proof as in-house built products — and that both worlds align seamlessly.

 

Your role.

  • Lifecycle Management of third-party products: support and assist with coordinating market research, selection, legal assessment and negotiation, onboarding, updates, cost-optimisation and retirement of 3d party products

  • Integration Strategy: collaborate with the business, enterprise and solutions architects on integration vision and strategies and manage the third-party vendors on these aspects

  • Vendor Strategy: ensure an objective and effective vendor strategy (selection, on-boarding & lifecycle) is developed and maintained in line with the enterprise landscape and its evolution 

  • Technical Evaluation: ensure that technical components of 3d party offering are evaluated and manage vendors to ensure these are incorporated in their service offering. 

  • Vendor Management: working closely with external providers, keeping SLAs on track, and staying ahead of as well as influence upcoming changes in vendor roadmaps.

  • Cross-functional Collaboration: partnering with internal development teams, architects, security, procurement, legal and application specialists.

  • Monitoring & Optimisation: ensuring integrations remain cost-effective, stable, performant and up-to-date as internal and external systems evolve and support the technical decision making process by providing relevant data and insights

  • Compliance & Risk Management: ensuring suppliers meet standards for security, data privacy, documentation and operational support and are up to date and onboard with CLdN’s evolving requirements

 

Your profile                                                                          

  • Excellent communication skills — able to who adapt communication style to different audiences and build trust across teams.

  • Strong analytical capability: able to assess technical options, compare vendor offerings, understand data flows and identify long-term implications as well as take a leading role in negotiations and legal assessment

  • Proven strategic thinking, combined with a hands-on mindset to translate strategy into practical solutions and concrete follow-up.

  • Solid understanding of software products, landscapes, integrations, licensing and system compatibility

  • Experience in stakeholder and vendor management, contract discussions or working closely with external software suppliers.

  • Structured, proactive, and able to balance strategic thinking with hands-on delivery.

Working Hours & Additional Leave

  • Full-time 

  • 5 extra days off in addition to statutory vacation days

  • Hybrid working: max. 3 days per week after 6 months 

  • Work hours with flexible start (7:30–9:30 AM) and finish (4:00–6:00 PM)
