Freight Shipping Planner

In my role I process bookings, help customers with booking-related queries, and maintain regular contact with terminals for loading and discharging operations. Qualities that are important include having good communication and service skills and being a team player. You must have the will to provide a good service.

I completed a test at school to find out what profession might suit me. The result I got was stevedore. I've come close to that at CLdN. The workplace is friendly, it's like a big family and there is a focus on equality.

As a planner, I manage drivers and make sure goods are loaded and unloaded on time at the right destination. Teamwork is key, as I communicate a lot with colleagues and carriers to make sure everything runs smoothly.

I heard about CLdN through a friend who was doing an internship there at the time. He thought it was such a cool, friendly workplace that he suggested I apply for a job. A great deal of value is attached to feeling good at CLdN. It was a nice moment when both myself and my partner were invited to the christening ceremony of our vessel, M/V Sixtine.
